So glad I have “The Happy Flower Day Project” in my life. And I think the people who received the free flowers this week feel that way too. Comments today - “The residents have been in their rooms for so long. We are just starting to open things up a little. They need something to do. These flowers are just what we all need. Please come back again.”

“My mother came into this nursing home in August during the pandemic. We have not been able to see her since then. I am here today to drop off supplies for her. She is okay most of the time but this week she has been depressed. Oh, what these flowers will do for her spirits.”

“I’ve been thinking about you and hoping The Flower Lady would come back again. I don’t want to be greedy but can I please have 15 bouquets for our sick residents?”

“I am the maintenance man here. I want to put these flowers in the hallway and dress up this nursing home.”

I just picked up 150 more. Oh no, where will I go? That makes 350 free bouquets this week. www.happyflowerday.org
